How it works

  1. Connect Square

    Merchants authorize Ready Buzz in Square to receive real-time order notifications.

  2. QR code at the counter

    A QR code for each order is displayed in the POS view for customers to scan with the Ready Buzz app.

  3. Scan to connect

    The customer scans the QR code with their phone and is instantly connected to their order.

  4. Kitchen taps Ready

    When the order is ready, the kitchen marks it done — Ready Buzz instantly buzzes the customer.

What merchants need

  1. Square account

    Connect your Square account so Square can send order status updates to Ready Buzz.

  2. Counter display for QR codes

    Any device — tablet, phone, or computer — showing each order's QR code near your POS or cashier counter so customers can scan with the Ready Buzz app.

  3. Kitchen display to mark ready

    If your kitchen already uses Square's KDS, order-ready status flows automatically. Otherwise, Ready Buzz provides a Pickup view for a kitchen tablet to mark orders ready.
